STEM Workshops
Bright Spark STEM offers FUN, engaging, hands-on professional development workshops, designed to teach early childhood educators how to integrate STEM into their existing programs by connecting hands-on science with children's literature.
"My girls tried out Bright Spark STEM today and LOVED it!!! They were both engaged and focused the entire time and kept working after class. Highly recommend if you have preschoolers or kindergartners at home!"

Story Time STEM Classes
Each class includes a kit of STEM materials, which will be mailed to you in advance. Using the kit during class creates an engaging, hands-on learning experience led by a certified teacher.
During class, your child will participate in a STEM challenge or engineering activity, where they design practical solutions to real-world problems. This develops your child's creativity and problem solving skills!
Students will practice gluing, cutting with scissors, and manipulating a variety of materials throughout class. This helps helps to build hand strength, develop hand-eye coordination, improve bilateral coordination, and improve attention to tasks.
STEM challenges are not crafts. There is no right-or-wrong answer. Students are encouraged to think outside the box, try creative ideas, and use failures as a launchpad for growth.
Classes are designed to promote wonder and curiosity about the world. Students are encouraged to make observations and ask questions to help them become more curious thinkers. This leads to child-directed learning, which promotes engagement and achievement!
STEM is an acronym that stands for Science, Technology, Engineering & Math. Studying STEM encourages children to hone their observation skills, find patterns, analyze results, and predict outcomes. Introducing this type of scientific thinking to little learners instills essential critical thinking skills, helps them become better problem solvers, and prepares them for higher learning! Through its incorporation of the Engineering Design Process, students practice the idea of continuous improvement & learning from mistakes. STEM helps children become more resilient and learn to not give up when things are challenging!
Bright Spark STEM is the perfect place to fall in love with learning STE
"My child definitely enjoys the classes! I'm super happy he's doing STEM activities. Thank you for having him in your class!"
